Aurora Borealis Cuff

3 Hour Class with
Easy Pre Class Homework
An undulating ridge of colors made with Brick Stitch rises up from a tubular Peyote cuff creating an Aurora Borealis effect. I like to wear multiples of this cuff to create a wonderful multi layer look.

A great class for beaders with basic knowledge of Peyote Stitch and Brick Stitches.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Saturday - Day

Masai Shields Brooches

One Day Class
These highly stylized brooches were inspired by Lino Tagliapietra's large glass wall hangings named Masai. I love the pleasing shape and bright colors. You can make yours in bright or subtle colors to suit your personal style. Either way, you will want several!

The brooches are created using Right Angle Weave over an armature. You can embellish them as much or as little as you wish. They look just as wonderful plain as they do fully adorned with beads, sequins, crystals, etc.

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Prerequisite: Must know Right Angle Weave

Mastering The Curl Saturday - Evening
Mastering the Curl

3 Hour Class
Mastering the Curl is Jeannette's signature class! This class has continued to be a favorite class among beaders since the mid 1980's because it is fun for people with all beading skill levels. This simple variation on the Peyote Stitch is easier than it looks, and a quick project. The Curl is such a wonderful pendant when it is finished. I love teaching this class and watching as the excitement builds as the class goes on and the curl begins to take shape. You can shop for the perfect blown glass or lampwork bead to nestle in the opening at the top once you are finished with your curl. Too fun!!!
