Day Class(5 Hours with a 1 Hour Lunch) Another wonderful project originated by Jeannette and popularized in The Beady Eyed Women's® Guides to Exquisite Beadwork, A Sculptural Peyote Primer. This necklace takes the exploration of Freeform Peyote stitch into even more realms than the cuff ever could. This project allows you to use many more components to create a truly sculptural art to wear necklace. So many things can be used in the construction of this necklace, that you will find yourself wanting to make many different themed necklaces. I have seen students do anything from ocean inspired, to nature and southwest to space inspired necklaces. The possibilities are endless. You will learn the Freeform Sculptural Peyote stitch and its many variations while creating a unique wearable art piece. The colors and bead size combinations are totally up to you! Your creative spirit will be freed to play as your imagination goes wild! Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced Prerequisite: None |
